Authorised service centre or an independent workshop?
Laptops still under the manufacturer's warranty or on the brand's own support plan should go to the brand first; we will tell you when that is the better route. Out of warranty, an authorised centre usually replaces whole boards, while we repair the failed component, which is often the difference between repairing a laptop and writing it off.
