Good service support. I did try repair of 2007 model HPDV2520ee display issue. It was satisfactory and working fine now. Did help me out with a OS upgrade as well. Also got my acer 5332 power issue. Few components in the mother board was replaced and working fine now.

Quick answer
A cracked or shattered screen means a new panel: glass-only repair does not exist for laptop LCDs. If the screen is black, dim, flickering or shows lines but is not cracked, the fault may be the display cable, the hinge pulling on it, or the board, and replacing the panel would waste your money. We test with an external monitor and a known-good cable before we quote.

- We connect an external monitor. If the picture is fine there, the problem is in the lid, not the board.
- We inspect the hinge and cable route with the bezel off and test with a known-good cable.
- We identify the exact panel: size, resolution, refresh rate, connector pin count, touch or not, bracket type. Two laptops of the same model can use different panels.

Before you decide
My screen is cracked. Can it be repaired instead of replaced?
No. Laptop LCD and OLED panels are sealed units; a crack anywhere means the panel is replaced. What we do check is whether anything else was damaged in the same knock, so you pay for one repair, not two.
The screen stopped working but the laptop is on. Is it the panel or the cable?
Often the cable or the board. Connect an external monitor: if that works, the board is fine and the fault is in the lid. Flicker when you move the lid points strongly at the cable. We test both before quoting.
Original or compatible panel: which do you fit?
Both exist and we tell you which is going in and the price difference. Original-grade panels match the brightness and colour of the factory part; good compatible panels are close and cost less. We do not fit a panel we would not put in our own laptop.
Can I get a better screen than the original?
Sometimes. If your model shipped with an HD TN panel, a Full HD IPS panel with the same size and connector often fits. We check the connector, brackets and BIOS support first.
How long does a screen replacement take?
We tell you before you leave the laptop. When the panel is in stock the job is quick; when it has to be ordered for your exact model we give you the expected date rather than a guess.
